Telling a great story is the heart and soul of making a feature length film. But above all else, it has to be a business first. The second you lose sight of that fact, you have already failed the people that trust you to deliver.

THE SITUATION

Narrative Film

"THE SITUATION" was distributed by Shorts International and is currently airing on the ShortsHD channel through ATT Uverse and DirecTV.

A botched kidnapping forces three criminals into a desperate stand-off. Cal (Brian Levi) is the unspoken leader of this dysfunctional group but his gross miscalculation forces the degenerate trio into a compromising dilemma. His short temper and itchy trigger finger heightens the tension that surrounds them. Reggie (Owen Thomas) is a delinquent with a heart of gold and this proves costly as his actions disrupt the tempo of the job. And Jess, (Baily Hopkins) a miscreant chick with serious attitude, tries to take control as their disorder deteriorates rapidly. This self-inflicted mess will end one way or another.

Ideas are like fish. If you want to catch little fish, you can stay in the shallow water. But if you want to catch the big fish, you’ve got to go deeper. Down deep, the fish are more powerful and more pure. They’re huge and abstract. And they’re very beautiful.
